It was never a penalty - Hill

Hill's side were a goal up and in control of a feisty contest when a linesman awarded a spot-kick for handball against defender Nathan Stanton. There appeared little Stanton could do to get out of the way of a cross by Vale's Lee Collins 15 minutes from time, but the linesman ruled otherwise and Marc Richards converted the penalty to give Vale a 1-1 draw.An exasperated Hill said: "It was never a penalty. Nathan had his arm across his chest and it was a terrible decision. No disrespect to our opponents, but we were totally in charge of the game and that has robbed us of three points."The result was soul destroying for the players because they know we should have come away from here with a victory. It would be nice to get an apology from the officials, but I don't suppose we will get one."
