Tranmere boss Les Parry could recall fit-again striker Dale Jennings for the home clash with Colchester.
Jennings, 18, has been sidelined with a groin injury for the past month, although he played for the reserves in midweek and is edging closer to a first-team return.
Parry said Jennings will be assessed, and explained: "The chances are if he's fully fit he'll play."
Ryan Fraughan and Alan Mahon played the full 90 minutes for the reserves and may come into contention but Lateef Elford-Alliyu is nursing a knee injury and will be monitored.
Tim Cathalina tweaked a hamstring playing for the second string in midweek, although Parry said: "That doesn't seem to be too bad but we'll have a little look at him."
