Midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady it determined to make his stay at Sunderland a long one after agreeing a permanent move.
The Black Cats confirmed last week that the option they set up when they secured the 23-year-old on a season-long loan deal from Egyptian side ENPPI will be exercised and that he will complete a transfer, worth around £2.5million in total, to the Stadium of Light when the current arrangement expires.
Elmohamady told the club's official website, www.safc.com: "I like the club and I have done ever since I got here.
"That is why I stay. Everyone is excellent - the club, players."
