Cherries: Bradbury hopeful over key trio

LEE Bradbury will resist the temptation to rush Cherries' key comeback trio but admitted their returns would provide a timely boost to the club's promotion push. The Cherries boss has reported positive news on the progress of long-term injury victims Mark Molesley, Steve Lovell and Ryan Garry. Molesley, sidelined for more than a year with a persistent foot problem, is at the most advanced stage of his comeback. He has already featured for the reserves and is on the verge of bolstering the first team squad, although his bid for match fitness was hampered by the postponement of a midweek friendly. Bradbury believes having Molesley available would provide him with a range of fresh options in the Cherries midfield. The Dean Court chief told the Echo: Mark was a bit upset the game was called off on Wednesday because he was going to play 90 minutes. That would have been his first 90 minutes since he had been injured. He has been training every day and has played a couple of reserve games, building up his time. He is not far off being involved in and around the first team again. It would be like having a new signing. He has got good quality about him and makes things happen. Striker Lovell has yet to play since joining Cherries in the summer due to an ankle injury. Bradbury said: Steve is running pain free and is stepping up his training. He works with Louis Langdown (conditioning coach) most days. He is making good progress at the moment. I used to play with Steve at Portsmouth and he was my strike partner there for a while. He will definitely cause problems in this league. Bradbury, who said Garry was also stepping up his workload, added: If we could get all three of them and Ben Williamson back for the last 10 games, it would be excellent for me to have a full squad to choose from. They are all players who can come in and do a great job. It is just managing the lads. When they have been out for a long time, they are really keen to get back and get back training every day. But you have to put the reins on them a little bit because they can break down again. At the same time, I want them all back as soon as possible, so it is difficult for me.
