Ahmed Elmohamady aiming to secure permanent Sunderland deal before the summer

Chasing a new deal: ElmohamadyAhmed Elmohamady is hoping to secure a permanent deal at Sunderland in the next three months. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has first option on the 23-year-old Egypt international and will have to pay ?2.5 million to his club ENPPI. Elmohamady, who has played 27 games but lost his place since the turn of the year, said: 'I like everything here - the people and the players - and I hope I can sign a new contract in the summer.
