Now for a fight over the Man United shirts: Crawley skipper Pablo Mills on his big weekend

EXCLUSIVEAfter putting in a man-of-the-match performance in Crawley Town's narrow 1-0 loss to Manchester United, skipper Pablo Mills talks exclusively to Sportsmail about the non-league club's big weekend in the spotlight.Captain marvel: Pablo Mills salutes the Crawley fans after the game Thursday Early training session before the madness of meeting the media. We left straight afterwards for Manchester. Went to Old Trafford to get used to the stadium and the pitch. It hadn't changed from when I went on the tour there two years ago. Friday We trained in the morning and then just relaxed. I'm on the Lost series. I slept well. I was anxious just to get the build-up over. Saturday No-one was talking about the fact it was United. The manager told us to keep our minds on the job. Going to the ground was different. We had a police escort, we could see all the supporters and even the United fans were clapping us, which was a nice touch. Pre-match I have my superstitions. I put my left sock on first, then my right, then my right shin pad, then my left shin pad. My socks must be the same length, no holes and they have to be new. The match On the pitch, you've no time to be in awe of anybody. I didn't look around and think about where I was. Even when Rooney came on and the crowd were hyping it, as far as I was concerned he was just another player. Post-match We shook hands with the United players, but no-one really said anything to them. Facing quality players is energy-sapping and we had given our all. The aftermath A few of us went out in Manchester. I had people coming up to me saying: 'Well played'. It was overwhelming. The whole day was first class, apart from the result. This morning The manager has all the United shirts and is giving them away in training. David Hunt got Rooney's actual shirt but I think there's another one in the bag. That'll make training interesting. There's going to be a lot of confrontation. FA CUP QUARTER-FINAL DRAW: Arsenal have last eight United incentiveMedia favour Manchester United over us, complains City legend SummerbeeUnited handed Champions League boost with Marseille striker Gignac set to miss clashAll the latest Man United news, features and opinion  Explore more:Places: Manchester
