Sodje loving life at Hibs

Akpo Sodje had no hesitation in moving to Hibernian and is ready to start scoring and helping the club climb the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table. Sodje was a transfer deadline day arrival from Charlton, signing an 18-month contract on his 30th birthday. The former Sheffield Wednesday and Port Vale forward has a 100% record for Hibs, having made his debut in the 2-0 win over St Mirren, a result which ended a 12-match winless run. The woeful form, which sees Hibs 10th in the SPL ahead of the match with fourth-placed Kilmarnock, did not put Sodje off moving to Easter Road. He said: "Everybody has asked me the same question, but when it comes to playing for Hibs, you look at the club and it's a big club. "You don't look at the table to judge what the club is all about. It was a very easy decision for me to come here. It's fantastic. It's even better than I was thinking it would be."
