Akpo Sodje had no hesitation in moving to Hibernian and is ready to start scoring and helping the club climb the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table.
Sodje was a transfer deadline day arrival from Charlton, signing an 18-month contract on his 30th birthday.
The former Sheffield Wednesday and Port Vale forward has a 100% record for Hibs, having made his debut in the 2-0 win over St Mirren, a result which ended a 12-match winless run.
The woeful form, which sees Hibs 10th in the SPL ahead of the match with fourth-placed Kilmarnock, did not put Sodje off moving to Easter Road.
He said: "Everybody has asked me the same question, but when it comes to playing for Hibs, you look at the club and it's a big club.
"You don't look at the table to judge what the club is all about. It was a very easy decision for me to come here. It's fantastic. It's even better than I was thinking it would be."
