Mauro Vilhete and Charlie Stimson boosted their chances of places in the Barnet line-up to face Torquay on Saturday with goals for the reserves.
The Bees fielded a strong line-up in the 4-1 victory over Hadley in the Herts Senior Cup.
First-team coach Michael Stone said: "Overall, it was a pleasing evening's work.
"The playing surface was not ideal for the type of football we like to play but, considering we had some 16 and 17-year-olds on the pitch, there is much to be pleased about."
Youngsters Ryan Scott and Jamal Lowe were also on target for the Bees.
