Blackpool defender Eardley tips Adam for big money summer move

Blackpool defender Neal Eardley says Charlie Adam will eventually get his move to a bigger Premier League club - but believes hanging on to the Scotland international could be a defining moment in the Seasiders' bid to avoid the drop. The future of the former Rangers midfielder was one of the main talking points of the transfer window, with Blackpool rejecting offers from Liverpool, Aston Villa and Spurs. However, there was not enough time for the deal to be completed and the 25-year-old will remain at Bloomfield Road until at least the end of the season. 'I think he scored 19 goals last season from midfield, which is excellent, and he has proved again this season what a massive player he is for us.'We have done well to keep him but I am sure Charlie will get his move in the summer or whenever because he is good enough to play for one of the big clubs.'But for now he is still a Blackpool player and hopefully he cancontinue to play at his best between now and the end of the season.'
