John Williams forced out of Blackburn

Chairman John Williams has become the latest casualty of Venky's takeover at Blackburn. Williams was forced out following meetings with the Venky's board in Manchester on Thursday night. It is understood his departure will be announced as being 'by mutual consent'. He enjoyed a close relationship with former boss Sam Allardyce and was angry at being made to sack his friend in December.
