Riordan committed to Hibs

Derek Riordan has reiterated his commitment to Hibernian and his support for manager Colin Calderwood, saying: "I want to stay." The 28-year-old Scotland forward is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with moves to Rangers, the English Premier League and Championship, as well as Turkey and Russia. Riordan ended Hibs' 11-hour wait for a goal by netting the opener in the 2-0 win over St Mirren, which eased their predicament at the foot of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, and afterwards pledged his commitment to the Easter Road club. He said: "I'm happy at Hibs, I enjoy it. I want to stay at Hibs all my career. "I've had wee talks (about a new contract), everybody's had wee talks but (Calderwood) has said we'd assess it later on. "I've just got to be happy playing football."
