Blackburn v SPURS: Jonathan Woodgate in from the wilderness

Remember me? Spurs defender WoodgateTottenham's mounting injury problems in defence mean that Jonathan Woodgate could make his first appearance for 14 months in Wednesday's Barclays Premier League game at Blackburn. Woodgate has been out with a long-standing groin injury but he may have to start given that Ledley King (groin), Younes Kaboul (knee) and Michael Dawson (suspension) are definitely out and William Gallas is struggling with a hip injury. Wilson Palacios has recovered from a knee injury but Gareth Bale (back) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) remain sidelined. Provisional squad: Gomes, Pletikosa, Cudicini, Hutton, Corluka, Gallas, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto, Khumalo, Woodgate, Sandro, Palacios, Jenas, Lennon, Modric, Pienaar, Van der Vaart, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe.  CLICK HERE FOR THE REST OF THE MIDWEEK TEAM NEWS  Explore more:People: Jonathan Woodgate, William Gallas, Michael Dawson, Gareth Bale, Ledley King, Wilson Palacios, Younes Kaboul, Tom Huddlestone
