Paraguay to rest Roque

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Roque Santa Cruz looks set to be left out of Paraguay's squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Argentina. Paraguay are currently third in the South American qualifying section and look well placed to book their spot at the World Cup finals in South Africa next year. But Santa Cruz looks unlikely to be able to help his country in their next set of qualifiers as he continues to try and overcome a knee injury.Santa Cruz sealed a move to Manchester City from Blackburn over the summer, but he has yet to play for in a World Cup qualifier this year, and that looks unlikely to change next month. "We don't want to rush things," said coach Gerardo Martino."We want to be sure he can make a recovery that will be good for his career."Santa Cruz is also missing from Paraguay's friendly with South Korea next week, and that will please manager Mark Hughes - who is also hoping Carlos Tevez is allowed to be left at home rather than take part in international duty.
