Hibs midfielder Edwin De Graaf joins Excelsior on loan

Flop midfielder heads home on loan Hibs boss Colin Calderwood has tonight allowed flop midfielder Edwin De Graaf to return to his homeland. The 30-year-old former NAC Breda and Feyenoord player has failed to adapt to the Scottish game, since arriving in a blaze of publicity this summer on a bosman from Breda. De Graaf actually started the season well, scoring a double in the home leg of the Europa League clash with Slovakians NK Maribor, but has gone on to miss a number of high profile sitters that have cost the Hibees valuable SPL points as they fight relegation. Unfortunately, Holland B cap De Graaf has struggled with life in the SPL, and has been allowed to join Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior on loan until the end of season.
