Davis in contention for Shrews bow

New loan signing David Davis is available to make his Shrewsbury debut at home to Burton. The midfielder has arrived from Wolves on an initial month-long deal Boss Graham Turner was unhappy with Town`s 3-1 defeat at Oxford last Tuesday and made two changes for Friday`s clash at Bury along with a switch of formation to 4-5-1. But another unimpressive opening 45 minutes at Gigg Lane saw him revert back to 4-4-2 at half-time, inspiring a much stronger second-half showing despite the 1-0 loss. And that leaves the Town boss with much to ponder against Burton. One of those two changes was enforced as on-loan defender Jermaine Grandison missed out with a hamstring injury and he is again likely to watch from the stands, with Dean Holden set to continue in his place.
