Sunderland seek to resurrect a deal for Stoke striker Ricardo Fuller despite knee problems

Sunderland, who remain interested in West Ham's Frederic Piquionne, are considering a restructured £3million deal for Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller, 31, amid concerns over his knee and shoulder problems. Jamaica forward Fuller would be anideal solution to solve the Black Cats' striker shortage after the £24m departure of Darren Bent to Aston Villa.
