Stoke snub Birmingham bid for Turkey international Tuncay

Birmingham have had an offer for Tuncay rejected by Stoke City. Manager Alex McLeish is eager to bring in the Turkey internationalas he scrambles to find a striker and the 29-year-old is willing tomove as he wants more playing time. Sunderland and West Ham are also interested. Rejected bid: Stoke turned down an offer for TuncayStoke had shown interest in Birmingham's Cameron Jerome but, with Nikola Zigic destined to join Racing Santander on loan, McLeish would want another striker in before he sanctioned that sale.
