Manset absent for Bulls

Hereford begin life without Mathieu Manset as they welcome Morecambe to Edgar Street. The French striker has been the Bulls` talisman this season with a total of 13 goals, including seven in his last eight games, but the advances of Championship side Reading proved too strong and a deal was agreed on Friday night. Mathieu would have missed Saturday`s trip to Accrington had the game not been postponed due a frozen pitch and manager Jamie Pitman now faces up to his first game without the influential striker against Sammy McIlroy`s Morecambe. Birmingham striker Jake Jervis, who scored twice in seven loan appearances for Hereford last season, has been brought in on a month`s loan as cover and will likely partner Stuart Fleetwood in attack. Otherwise, Pitman has the same set of players available as he did for the weekend clash at the Crown Ground. Full-back Ryan Green returns from a two-match suspension but faces a battle for his shirt as Pitman looks to mastermind Hereford`s unbeaten sequence to five games.
