Winnard boost for Stanley

Accrington manager John Coleman could be boosted by the return of Dean Winnard for the visit of Hereford. The defender missed Tuesday's home defeat against Shrewsbury with illness but is expected to return to the fold after shaking it off. Joe Jacobson could be in line for an extended run in the team, with Coleman without Kevin Long. The on-loan Burnley star missed the midweek loss after suffering a broken toe and returned to his parent club. The Shrews clash was the last of his loan but the club are hopeful of bringing him back when fit. Coleman is hoping to secure reinforcements in the form of Ian Craney. Craney left the club after his loan from Fleetwood expired but Stanley are still keen on capturing his signature.
