Cristiano Ronaldo: Mario Balotelli should just play for Manchester City, not mouth off

Cristiano Ronaldo has told Mario Balotelli to talk less and concentrate on his Manchester City career. Balotelli has been at the centre of a number of controversies since joining City from Inter Milan last summer and again stoked the flames by making a jibe at Wayne Rooney.   But the Real Madrid hotshot, who made his name in the Barclays Premier League with City's rivals United, said: 'Balotelli? He's a good player but he must talk less and think about playing more. In England you learn and listen. Outspoken: City's Mario Balotelli (left) and former United star Cristiano Ronaldo (right)'In the Premier League if you do this you can become a great player. I hope he does this but at the moment he puts too many other things in front of his profession. That isn't right.'Balotelli's injured knee sidelined him again at Eastlands last night for City's 4-2 FA Cup replay win against Leicester. But the Italian striker again courted controversy by suggesting Rooney is not even the best goalscorer in Manchester. Balotelli set up a tantalising showdown against the England striker in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on February 12 by saying Rooney is inferior to him and fellow City forwards Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko. He also claimed United fans have approached and asked him to ditch Eastlands for Old Trafford. Off target: Balotelli has claimed Wayne Rooney is not even the best striker in ManchesterHe said: 'Rooney's good, but he is not the best in Manchester. Think about this one: Balotelli-Tevez-Dzeko. Is it not good enough? 'Can you see anything better than this in the world? Me neither, not even at Barcelona or Real Madrid. 'We are stronger. We only lack conviction, the rest is all here. We can win now. Dzeko is a good person. Nothing compares to you: Carlos Tevez is among the players Balotelli rated higher than Rooney'United fans, they stop me in the street and tell me, "Mario, come to United". Honestly. 'But I'm dreaming of beating United, because I know how much this means to our fans. They are splendid with me.'  Thoughts of Super Mario: Rooney's not even the best in Manchester!Man City 4 Leicester 2: Mancini's revolution on target for FA Cup gloryI'll head back to Milan in two years!
