Liverpool stalwart Jamie Carragher admits: We¿re not good enough

Carragher said: 'I think we have to remember last season we finished seventh and lost Javier Mascherano. Looking at the squad compared to other teams, we have to be realistic and look at Europa League qualification. 'That really should have been our target at the start of the season. 'The squad we've got are not good enough and that can't be down to Roy Hodgson.'It wasn't good enough last season for Rafa Benitez and now Kenny haslost two games. It has been the same for all three managers.' Liverpool have been linked with Ajax striker Luis Suarez and Blackpool's Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam. Carragher said: 'When Liverpool don't win it's a massive crisis. 'We have to realise as a group of players we have to deliver on the pitch, but we also need help off the pitch as well and hopefully the new owners will do that.' Carragher also backed Dalglish to get the best out of Torres. He said: 'After he scored against Blackpool, there were signs he was coming back.
