Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson could not have asked for more from Ryan Giggs after holding him in check to cover Ji-sung Park's departure to the Asian Cup.Despite celebrating his 37th birthday in November, it now appears certain Giggs will be handed a one-year contract extension in the summer.The Welshman might have ruled out any possibility of a return to the international stage but his commitment to United remains undiminished.And once again, Giggs has proved Ferguson can rely on him in times of crisis.
