City outcast: Wright-PhillipsFulham hope to make Shaun Wright-Phillips their second signing of the January transfer window. Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed the midfielder, 29, is likely to leave and Fulham, Birmingham and Newcastle are interested. Fulham manager Mark Hughes refused to deny his interest in Wright-Phillips, but confirmed a move for Emmanuel Adebayor is unlikely. Hughes said: 'He (Wright-Phillips) is a player I've worked with, a player I know. Manu is a guy who I like as a person. But that doesn't mean we're in a position to bring him here.'
