Craig Bellamy arrested over alleged assault outside Cardiff nightclub

Wales striker Craig Bellamy has been arrested on suspicion of assault. The player was taken into custody after two men were injured in an early morning incident in Cardiff. The 31-year-old Manchester City player, who is currently on loan at Cardiff, was bailed today (Wednesday) after speaking with officers. He was arrested after the alleged assault on Caroline Street - informally known as 'Chippy Lane' - at around 2.45am on Sunday.
