PICTURE SPECIAL: How York City's FA Cup fairytale day at Bolton turned to despair

York City's players got a taste of the big time at Bolton on Saturday - and Sportsmail was behind the scenes following their bid for FA Cup glory. We went with the Blue Square Bet Premier side from their team hotel, via coach, to the Reebok Stadium as manager Gary Mills and his team planned for the third-round tie.  Ready to rumble: York get together for their pre-match huddleThose plans nearly paid dividends. York may be 98 places below Barclays Premier League Bolton, but they matched them for over 80 minutes before losing 2-0 after late goals from Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander. York were backed by 5,000 fans and keeper Michael Ingham said: 'I wish we could all play in front of that crowd every week because it was a mind-blowing experience. 'I hope we have given them a great day out because we did everything we could and held one of the best sides in the Premier League for virtually the whole match. It has been a long time since a non-League side beat a topflight side but we came very close and I think the players should be proud of themselves.'
