Quinn makes Darlington debut

Darlington hand a debut to one of their new signings in today's game at home to table-topping AFC Wimbledon. Centre-back Adam Quinn, who arrived yesterday from Crawley Town, slots into the side at the heart of Quakers' defence alongside Ian Miller. Quinn is the only change to the starting XI from Monday's win over Barrow with striker Michael Smith, who scored against Barrow, not in the squad. Quinn signed on the same day as ex-Kettering defender Greg Taylor who must made do with a place on the bench. Taylor replaces striker Jefferson Louis who has returned to Gainsborough Trinity following the end of his unsuccessful three-month loan. He failed to score in seven appearances. Darlington again have no keeper on the bench, while Wimbledon can name only four substitutes due to a virus that has swept through the club. Today's game is Wimbledon's first at The Northern Echo Arena, but the sides have met this season with Quakers winning 2-0 in October thanks to goals from Chris Senior and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson. Senior is now injured while Bridge-Wilkinson today plays the last match of his three-month loan from Carlisle United, though Darlington manager Mark Cooper is hopeful of securing a permanent transfer.
