Double ban blow for Rovers

Tranmere duo Ian Goodison and Gareth Edds will miss the opening match of the League One season at Yeovil on Saturday due to suspension. Jamaica international defender Goodison serves the last game of a four-match ban carried over from last season. Utility-man Edds serves a one-game ban following his sending off in the final match of the 2008/09 campaign.
