Wigan sign Adrian Lopez

Welcome: Adrian LopezWigan have completed the signing of free agent Adrian Lopez after receivinginternational clearance for the Spanish defender to play in England.The 23-year-old - nicknamed Piscu - has been out of contract at Deportivo La Coruna since the end of last season but Wigan have been forced to wait to receive clearance from FIFA. They did not have to pay any compensation.Lopez, who has signed a deal until the end of the campaign and will wear the No 24 shirt, is eligible to play immediately.
