Cherries: Howe predicts quiet transfer window

BOSS Eddie Howe is anticipating a quiet January transfer window providing Cherries' injury list continues to shorten. Howe has several key players ready to hit the comeback trail and at his disposal for the busy festive period. Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal, utility man Shaun Cooper, midfielder Harry Arter and striker Michael Symes are all back in full training. Long-term injury victim Mark Molesley is also champing at the bit to make a playing return and could be in contention in the next few weeks. And Howe says the condition of his existing squad will determine whether or not he needs to bolster his resources next month. He told the Daily Echo: First and foremost, we have got to assess where we are in terms of our own injuries and the strength of our squad. If we get everyone fit, I don't think we will need to bring in many bodies because I think we are strong enough. If we continue to have problems, we may look to make a move. Providing the injury situation continues to improve, I don't think we will be doing a great deal of business. When we've got a full-strength squad, we are covered in most positions. I would only bring in someone if I felt they could strengthen the squad. Howe confirmed Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan a reported target would not be one of his potential signings should he be looking to add firepower.
