Smith expects further postponements

Rangers manager Walter Smith is bracing himself for further postponements after their game against Dundee United was thrown into doubt. The Scottish champions are set to travel to Tannadice tomorrow night for their rearranged Clydesdale Bank Premier League game. But adverse weather conditions mean a question mark now hangs over the fixture, with Smith acknowledging the safety of fans must be the priority. He said: "That was the reason we had the whole card cancelled a couple of weeks ago, the fact that conditions for supporters travelling in weren't ideal. "That would still stand at the present moment but we will just have to wait and see what the decision is and it's the police who would make that decision as much as any other body."
