Bobby Zamora on target for Fulham return in February

Bobby Zamora returned to training on Thursday for the first time since breaking his right leg on September 11. Fulham have desperately missed the England striker, 29, and have scored only 10 goals in 13 Barclays Premier League games since his injury. Fulham boss Mark Hughes said: 'Bobby was running on the pitch for the first time. Up and running: Zamora ran for the first time since September when he broke his leg against Wolves'He's done a lot of work in the gym and worked on the machine that increases the load and the weight bearing he can manage. 'He hit 100 per cent load early last week so we got him outside. 'It's very early days for him and it's a case now of building up his confidence and getting his body to where it was. 'But he is bang on track and hopefully we'll have him back sooner rather than later. I think he'll be (ready in) February. Road to recovery: Injured Zamora is on target to return to action in February'We need that cutting edge, that little spark that ignites the team and gets you goals. At the moment we're struggling in that respect.' Moussa Dembele will miss Saturday's trip to Liverpool because the midfielder has been in Belgium for further consultation on his ankle injury. England Under 20 defender Matthew Briggs has had minor surgery on both calf muscles and will be out for another two weeks.  Fulham tell Hughes: You're safe, so here's £10m!
