Meyler and Mignolet start for Sunderland

DAVID Meyler and Simon Mignolet both return to Sunderland's starting line-up for today's Premier League game at Fulham. The pair replace Asamoah Gyan and Craig Gordon who, although injured, both appear on the substitutes' bench at Craven Cottage. Meyler makes his first appearance since damaging his cruciates in the penultimate game of last season. The Republic of Ireland international, who has played only a handful of reserve games since returning to fitness, will start in midfield, with Danny Welbeck pushing forward to partner Darren Bent in attack. Mignolet returns between the sticks to make his first appearance since November's 2-0 win over Stoke.
