Marseille v CHELSEA: Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole rested by Blues

Chelsea will be without striker Nicolas Anelka and left-back Ashley Cole for Wednesday's Champions League Group F game against Marseille. Both have been rested by coach Carlo Ancelotti while midfielders Yury Zhirkov (calf) and Frank Lampard (groin and adductor) have not recovered fully. Brazilian defender Alex (knee) joins midfielder Yossi Benayoun (achilles) as a long-term absentee.
