Giovani Dos Santos set to end Spurs misery by joining Italian side Genoa

Tottenham outcast Giovani Dos Santos is set to snub interest from his native Mexico and join Genoa in January. Tottenham want a striker in January and have lined up a move for Everton's Steven Pienaar but still need to offload players from a large squad with Giovani, David Bentley, Robbie Keane and Niko Kranjcar the most likely to go. He impressed in the World Cup with Mexico but has failed to transfer that form to the Premier League.
