Aston Villa target West Ham striker Frederic Piquionne and Spurs forward Robbie Keane

Houllier knows Piquionne well from the 31-year-old's time with Lyon and Monaco and has been impressed by how he has adapted to English football with Portsmouth and now at West Ham. The London club are short of cash and would prefer to offload Carlton Cole if someone can match their £10million valuation but that is unlikely and a £4.5million offer for Piquionne may be their quickest source of income. The Midlander: Carling Cup win would be FAN-tastic but try telling McLeishFA and police probe violence in derby between Birmingham and Aston Villa  Explore more:People: John Carew, Emile Heskey, Robbie Keane, Ashley Young, Carlton Cole, Gerard Houllier, Gabriel Agbonlahor Places: Monaco, Lyon, Monaco
