Darlington match postponed

Darlington's match at home to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday has been postponed. The Blue Square Bet Premier League game has been scrapped due to the depths of snow on the pitch at The Northern Echo Arena. Local Football League official Steve Smith inspected the pitch today and made the early call, making the match the second to be postponed at the Arena this week. Also called off was Tuesday's game with Histon and Darlington are now looking to arrange three games. Their league trip to Luton was scheduled for last weekend but was postponed due to Quakers' FA Cup tie with York City. The club's next game is scheduled to be at home to fellow Conference side Tamworth in the first round of the FA Trophy at the Arena on Saturday, December 11.
