Laws lauds 'mature' Guidetti

Burnley boss Brian Laws has hailed loan signing John Guidetti following his promising introduction to life at Turf Moor. The rookie Manchester City striker opened his account for the club in a 45-minute display for the reserves in Tuesday`s 2-2 draw with Bury. The 18-year-old also got 20 minutes of action in the first team after coming off the bench during last Saturday's 2-1 win over Derby. "We have been delighted with John," said Laws, who signed Guidetti in a deal running until January 3. "One of the things we talked about was his maturity and he certainly plays beyond his age. "He's very strong, his accepting of the ball has been excellent and, as he showed, he has got an eye for goal."
