'Mollycoddled' modern players have it too easy, says gnarled Steve Bruce

'Mollycoddled': BruceSunderland manager Steve Bruce has warned today's young footballers are 'mollycoddled' and over-protected.He is concerned about the type of players the modern day academies are manufacturing and said: 'There is a danger they are too mollycoddled, even here. 'Anyone coming here as a 10-year-old can put Sunderland strips on and play on a wonderful surface in lovely surroundings and get changed in dressing rooms with heated floors.'In my day it was a cold shower, concrete bloody floors and changing in the car occasionally.
