Two debuts in Darlington line-up

Darlington's two new signings are both in the starting line-up for today's game at Wrexham. Keith Gillespie and Aman Verma make their debuts as two of four changes to the Quakers side which drew 1-1 with Crawley Town last Saturday. Gillespie had been training with the club for a month before signing on Thursday, while Verma joined on loan from Leicester City yesterday. They will play in midfield while at left-back is Kevin Austin who replaces Aaron Brown. Brown was sent off seven days ago so serves a one-match ban. There is no Jefferson Louis in the squad so his place in the forward line is taken by teenage striker Curtis Main. He impressed Cooper with his work-rate when he came off the bench against Crawley. As well as Brown and Louis, also making way are Gary Smith and Chris Senior who are both on the bench at the Racecourse Ground. Wrexham have lost only once at home this season in nine league games to leaders AFC Wimbledon and during October won 1-0 at The Northern Echo Arena. However, Quakers have lost only once on their travels and remain the only team to have won at Wimbledon.
