Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler gives up on Glory to join MK Dons

On the move: Fowler will join MK Dons as a coach Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is to join MK Dons as a coach in February. The 35-year-old will first finish his playing stint with Australian side Perth Glory where he has been criticised for his lack of goals but came back with a hat-trick last week in a 3-1 win over Melbourne Victory. Fowler knows MK Dons manager Karl Robinson from their time at Liverpool where Robinson was an academy coach and worked briefly with the Dons squad in May. Robinson said: 'When his season finishes he'll be over on a regular basis working with the forwards as part of my coaching team.' Robinson, who is five years younger than Fowler, also has Fowler's friend Dietmar Hamann as player-coach. The German has taken on further responsibility following first-team coach Alex Rae's decision to join Paul Ince at Notts County.    Roo'd love it here: Come and join me Down Under, quips Kop god Fowler Robbie Fowler in good form as Perth storm back to top of Australian tableLIVERPOOL FC
