Howard feels for goalkeepers

Everton keeper Tim Howard believes it will always be tough to impress as Manchester United or Arsenal's keeper because their teams are so good. While The Toffees keeper is kept busy in a game and always on his toes and looking good making saves, keepers for the league's bigger teams are often merely spectators. The imposing American was brought to English football by the Red Devils, but a series of high-profile blunders led to him losing his place before being snapped up by Everton.Lukasz Fabianski has come under fire in Arsenal's goal, although he was the man of the match in their 2-0 midweek success over Wolves simply because he made saves aplenty.Howard believes playing for the league's bigger clubs will cause problems and that if you fluff your one moment in the limelight to make the save the pressure quickly intensifies."Playing at a club like Arsenal and Manchester United when you are in possession the majority of the time, it is difficult to stand out and be world class," said Howard."That is always the issue they have had with keepers down the years."You need a different mentality, It is difficult because the nature of the best is when you make a lot of saves you look a good goalkeeper."When the opportunities are few and far between, there is more pressure because you only get that one moment to shine."
