Feeney joy at goal

Bournemouth winger Liam Feeney has revealed his delight at breaking his scoring duck and insisted Cherries fans have not seen the best of him yet. The 23-year-old livewire has started all 18 games for the Cherries this season but had to wait until the 5-3 win over Tranmere in the FA Cup for his first goal of the current campaign. Feeney told the Echo: "I think everyone could see how pleased I was. I've been waiting for it for a long time and it feels like a massive weight has been lifted now that I've got it. Hopefully, a few more will come. "I've been working so hard in training, particularly on that sort of finish, so I was glad to see it go in. Especially when you are an attacking player, you are expected to score goals and create chances. "If it doesn't come for a while, then there is a massive pressure. It was building up a little bit and it was on my mind. "I have hit the post a few times, the keepers have made some good saves and I've had a shot cleared off the line, so it hasn't seemed to happen for me. Like on Saturday, when my shot hit the post and Josh (McQuoid) got his first, I thought it might have been one of those days again."
