Crystal Palace could be boosted by the return of last season's top scorer Darren Ambrose home game against Swansea.
Midfielder Ambrose has been sidelined since August with a leg injury but came through a practice match in midweek and will be checked over by manager George Burley.
Dutch veteran Edgar Davids is also poised to return to the squad after missing last weekend's 4-3 defeat at Preston due to a virus.
But winger Sean Scannell has suffered a slight setback in his recovery from a knee injury and will sit out again.
Centre-half Claude Davis serves the third game of his four-match ban following his red card against Millwall a fortnight ago.
Defender Lee Hills and midfielder Neil Danns (both knee) are still missing.
