Gareth Bale would not look out of place in the Brazilian national side, according to his Tottenham team-mate Heurelho Gomes. Rising Spurs star Bale hit the headlines earlier this week when he netted a sensational hat-trick in Wednesday's 4-3 UEFA Champions League defeat at Inter Milan. Brazil goalkeeper Gomes, who was dismissed at the Giuseppe Meazza after just eight minutes, rates Bale as one of the top wingers in the world. And the shot-stopper says the 21-year-old Welshman would have no trouble fitting in with the Samba stars."Gareth looks a bit Brazilian the way he plays," said Gomes. "I think he could get in the Brazil national team, he is playing so well. "Gareth is on fire. His three goals against Inter were unbelievable and if he had got his hat-trick a little bit sooner, I think we would have got a fourth!" Cardiff-born Bale's display at the San Siro has inevitably seen him attract the attention of several top clubs, including Inter and their fierce local rivals AC Milan. While manager Harry Redknapp insists the winger is not for sale, Bale's team-mate Alan Hutton feels Spurs could face a tough battle keeping hold of the star winger in the January transfer window. "Of course there are a lot of teams who would want Gareth," said Hutton. "He could play for any team in the world so Tottenham will be desperate to hold on to him, he's a great talent on the big stage. "Maicon is supposed to be one of the best full-backs in the world but Gareth caused him all sorts of problems (on Wednesday) so I am sure he can do that anywhere in the world. "Gareth's finishing is deadly. You might expect it from natural goalscorers like Jermain Defoe but Gareth also has that in his locker. "He has that magic touch for goals and he proved it again against the Champions League title holders Inter Milan. "To get three goals anywhere is good for your pride but to get three goals in Italy against the champions is pretty sensational. "You come to expect it of him. I hope he scores a hat-trick every time he plays now!"
