Adams looking for loans

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has been given the green light to boost his ranks with one or two loan players. Vale have this week seen on-loan winger Jemal Johnson return to MK Dons while midfielder Rob Taylor has been ruled out for between six to eight weeks after tearing his hamstring. The double blow, combined with a winless run of four games and the loss of top spot in League Two, has led to chairman Bill Bratt giving Adams the go-ahead to add to his squad. The Vale chief told the Sentinel: "MK Dons asked for Jemal to return which was disappointing for us, while Rob Taylor could be out for two months after tearing a hamstring against Gillingham. "So there is scope for Micky to look at loan players as we're a bit short on numbers, but it's a difficult task because it's not easy to find the right players."
