Trez agent talks up Milan

David Trezeguet's agent has spoken in glowing terms about a possible switch to AC Milan for the Juventus striker. Agent Antonio Caliendo believes the Frenchman would be prepared to take a pay cut to move to Milan, who are in the hunt for a forward following Kaka's departure to Real Madrid. Speculation has intensified after Caliendo was spotted dining with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani last week, while Rossoneri coach Leonardo has admitted he would welcome Trezeguet into the squad with open arms. But while Caliendo has been encouraged by these positive reports, he believes the valuation of Trezeguet, who is under contract with Juve until 2011, could prove a potential stumbling block. Caliendo told Sky Italia: "Leonardo and the club's appreciation of Trezeguet represents an undoubted encouragement to discuss things reasonably but the decision lies with Juventus. "Trezeguet has a value of about six or seven million euros, but is tied to the two-year deal with Juve, the club could also ask for 10 million." Regarding Trezeguet taking a pay cut to secure a move to the San Siro, the agent told Corriere Dello Sport: "Of course he would - you can always find a solution when everyone shows good will. "Milan is worth a sacrifice, David is ready to come, meet the demands of his possible new club. "If a similar hypothesis was made official, we would have no problems in negotiating with Milan." Trezeguet, who has been at Juve since 2000, has also been linked with Lyon, Roma, Rangers and Manchester City. The 31-year-old endured a difficult campaign last term - scoring one goal in just two league starts - after a groin injury ruled him out for part of the season, while he was also unable to earn a starting place under former coach Claudio Ranieri.
