Winning comes before style - Lennon

eil Lennon insists that winning games must be his number one priority as Celtic manager. But the Hoops boss has assured fans he is doing all he can to ensure they are also being entertained along the way.Celtic return to action this weekend with a daunting trip to Tannadice as they take on Dundee United following the international break. They head into the match still level on points with rivals Rangers at the summit of the SPL, with both Glasgow giants boasting 100% records so far. With a crucial Old Firm derby looming in a couple of weeks, Lennon is determined to see Celtic maintain that record. But he believes he also has the players at his disposal who are capable of more than merely grinding out results. He told Huddle Online: "I want my team, firstly, to go out and win the game."Every game we play is a must-win game for us. The bonus of that is that we play in a certain style."I think we have brought players in here who can play an attacking style of football and we have players who are decent defensively too."We are building as we go along and are looking for the right ingredients all the time - to put a team out that the fans enjoy watching and which is a winning team into the bargain."For those players who were not on international duty, Celtic made use of the break from club football with a friendly against Bohemians in Dublin, a match they won 4-1 at the weekend. And Lennon also made the most of some extra free time to pick up some pointers from the best footballing nation in the world. He added: "I miss the games, but it does give me the opportunity to go and watch other teams."I was fortunate enough to get taken to the Scotland-Spain game and it was a pleasure to be there and a terrific advert for football."It was a pleasure to watch Spain play and Scotland played very well too."
