Hahnemann backs Wolves to recover

Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann is backing his team-mates to come through their sticky patch and start climbing the Premier League ladder. The Molineux outfit made a decent start to the campaign, but four successive league defeats sees them level on points with rock-bottom West Ham.Wolves led in recent matches at Spurs and Fulham, although they failed to secure any points after slipping to defeats.Hahnemann insists no-one is panicking at the club's lowly position and that everyone in Mick McCarthy's side is pulling in the same direction."I think last year if we were in this position there would have been a lot more tension around the place," he told the club's official website."Sometimes it gets really 'bitty' in training when things aren't going your way. It can make things difficult but we've not had any of that."There are such a good group of guys here and we will know we will get through this. We just need a result to go our way."Everyone is still working really hard and with the players we've got I'm still very confident we're going to be OK."Wolves have a relegation six-pointer against West Ham this weekend with both teams winning last season's respective away fixture.Their 3-1 success at Upton Park last season remains fresh in Hahnemann's mind and he would love a repeat of that scoreline at Molineux."I remember the West Ham game on the first day and we hit the post twice and came away with nothing," he continued. "It wasn't like we were playing badly."It's just at this level that the quality of teams you are playing against will punish you whenever they can and that's been happening this season and we've paid the price."We've made mistakes as a team on the pitch and it has cost us dearly so we've ended up with nothing from four games."We had some big games last season including a memorable one against West Ham."We beat them at their place but they'd already beaten us at Molineux on the first day of the season. The game down there was a turning point really."We were both in a similar spot in the table and the win we got there helped us make that little break."Everything is on the cards for the same situation on Saturday and hopefully we can do the same again."
