Former Toon Striker Wants Wales Job!

Former Newcastle striker Ian Rush wants to succeed John Toshack as Wales national team boss. Brian Flynn was placed in caretaker charge for the recent Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland following the the departure of Toshack last month. Rush: "If you are asked, then it's very difficult to say no. There will be lots of people interested," said Rush. "It's not an impossible job, but it's a difficult one. There's some fantastic youngsters, but for me it's getting them all to play."
