Crewe striker Calvin Zola remains available for loan.
The Congolese has turned down temporary moves to League Two rivals Bradford and Shrewsbury.
Alex boss Dario Gradi told the club`s official website: "He is still available for loan, that hasn`t changed. But Calvin is still here with us and that means he is a part of the plans and could be involved for the reserves at Liverpool on Tuesday.
"He is a decent player and a lot of clubs in our division are interested in him. I just feel that he is behind a number of the strikers we have here and I have preferred to pick players ahead of him lately.
"He scored two goals in the reserves against Barrow last week and if he does that again at Liverpool, I am sure it will do him the power of good and it will do me the power of good too."
